It also aimed to identify the most/least used translation strategies applied by each Persian translator, Morteza Madaninejad (2000) and Hamideh Ashkannezhand (2004), for translating culture-specific items (CSIs) from English into Persian. To do so, CSIs were extracted from the novel and classified based on Espindola and Vasconcellos's (2006) classification of cultural items. Then, Pederson's (2005) taxonomy of translation strategies was used to analyze the two Persian translations. The results indicated that Madaninejad preferred to use source oriented strategies. Thus, the translation he produced occupied the primary position in the literary polysystem. By contrast, Ashkannezhand had an interest in the use of target -oriented strategies. The findings have implications for translators of literary texts. هدف مطالعه حاضر بررسی مقبولیت دو ترجمه فارسی از هری پاتر و اتاق اسرار با یافتن جایگاه هر ترجمه فارسی در سیستم های ادبی است. همچنین تلاش شده است که کمترین و بیشترین استراتژیهای ترجمه بکار رفته توسط هر مترجم فارسی ، مرتضی مدنی نژاد (2000) و حمیده اشکان نژند (2004) ، برای ترجمه موارد خاص فرهنگ (CSI) از انگلیسی به فارسی تعیین شود. برای این کار ، آیتمهای فرهنگ از رمان فوق استخراج و براساس طبقه بندی آیتمهای فرهنگی ارایه شده توسط اسپیندولا و واسکونسلوس (2006) طبقه بندی شدند. سپس ، استراتژی های ترجمه پدرسون (2005) برای تجزیه و تحلیل دو ترجمه فارسی مورد استفاده قرار گرفت. همانطور که نتایج نشان می دهند ، مدنی نژاد ترجیح داده است از استراتژی های مبدا گرا استفاده کند. بنابراین ، ترجمه ای که وی ارائه داده است جایگاه اصلی را در سیستم های ادبی اشغال کرده است. در مقابل ، اشکان نژند به استفاده از استراتژی های مقصد گرا علاقه داشته است. بنابراین ، ترجمه او در موقعیت دوم قرار گرفته و یک سیستم پیرامونی را در درون سیستم های ادبی توصیف کرده است. https://efl.shbu.ac.ir/article_126289_6dde7b284db81ad4512868544dff5ace.pdf
